I have tried almost all the things that are mentioned on this forum and am yet not able to connect to any hubs. Either I am doing something wrong or the hubs are absolutely not working!!! I had some things to clarify.
1:-The public hubs list provided on this forum are accessable only through the internet.
2:- I am not able to connect to any hub by changing my ip range and by binding 2 ips together as shown here.
3:-I am using Apex DC++. So i hope thats not the reason I am not able to connect.
4:-Also I am interested to know "the sharing files in lan through torrent" thing thats supposedly going to start. When is this going to be implemented?
5:-Last thing, how can I play games on lan?

Thank you for your help and replies.

Okey you did mention everything but forgot major part. Where do you stay and what ISP you on. Usually 90% problem is here, You got to be in Navi Mumbai SIFY network provided by SSV.

Hmm before you do any routing techics. Check this 1st.

-- type this in command promt

route - f

this will erase all the kidas u did to your routing table and do a head start. Reboot you PC and then disable enable ur LAN.

-- Change your IP to 10.11.1.xx or 10.11.2.xxx ---- 10.11.7.xxx choose any range and try to connect to HUB mentioned in the public list. Rem those hubs are local hubs cannot be connected via net, its just a place where u can c da list of hubs tats all.

-- Try try all IP ranges one by one and then finally when u have an IP range which connects to hub. Now use this IP range for IP routing thing.
-- Also rem HUBs are not 24x7 online ... powercut come in between so try ur luck whole day wink.gif

Siddharth

Okay I thought it should be obvious, but I am living in Navi mumbai (Koperkhairane) and I am on the SIFY network. Now here is what I did.
1:-My IP address is 10.12.37.100
2:-I did the route-f thing you asked me to do
3:-I rebooted my pc
4:-I disconnected my lan and again connected it.
5:-I changed my Ip address ranges from 10.11.1.xx to 10.11.7.xxx (tried all of them)
6:-Heck I even tried 10.12.5.xxx
7:-I tried to connect to the hubs which were provided in the public list.
8:-I even tried a whole lot of hubs (around 15-20) which were already there in my recent hubs list.
9:-But I am still not able to connect to any hubs!!!

I am now really frustrated and feel like killing myself!!!
Is there anything else I can do or is there something I am doing wrong?
I was wondering if you could provide me a few hubs that you can connect at the present.

Anyways whether I will be able to connect to any hubs or not I would like to thank you for helping me out with this thing.
Thanking you
Varun
