Setting up Wireless Router for your broadband is really easy. I will try illustrate some steps and concepts to make you understand.

1. So is a Wireless / Broadband Router ?
Its a network device which connects two different network (eg: IP range)

2. Setup your WAN / broadband setting in your router in IP mode. To do that please access the router via web. Please check with your device manual.
The IP has to be one provided by your broadband (eg Sify broadband)

3. Configure your local network as per diagram and configure your wireless laptop and computer with any IP from local IP range.

4. Install SIFY broadband Client on any one of the Computer and login using regular username / password

5. Sify would activate internet on your WAN IP of your router ie 10.20.20.35 and the internet would be shared by all the computer in local network.

6. You can configure DHCP on your router, this will assign IP , gateway as well as DNS settings to all the computer in your local network when they are set to acquire IP automatically.
